KQ #17, " Yours. . . In Gratitude"
May 23, 2010
The KQ Newsletter--
"Yours... In Gratitude"... the great delusion ... gratitude and the survivor
"Yours... In Gratitude"'Thanks' is an easy word to say. It rolls out easily like 'hello' and 'bye'— a punctuation full stop to a personal interaction session of give and take. When we are overwhelmed by unexpectedly receiving a benefit, or a benefit that is more than we expect—we spontaneously become surprised and grateful.
When we have little, or caught unawares by sudden benefits we are genuinely thankful for what we get. Then, the more we have, the less grateful we become. The transformation from being 'in gratitude', to 'in-gratitude' is very smooth and effortless.
We see that initially, the person is very thankful for the help received from family, friends and associates, especially if it means a financial or life situational benefit.
His tree of life flourishes, giving the fruits of gains and benefits spurred on by a humble and prayerful attitude. The humility lies in thinking that he is undeserving of such gains. There is an appreciation of his own inadequacies that have been helped by loving family and friends. The person works hard and sincerely, spurred on by this support and gains more and more.
This humility and goodwill attracts more good fortune by the principle of like attracts like. Whatever he meditates on affects his thinking and working in that way, drawing to itself more of the similar energy and opportunity. There comes a point where the root of this beneficial tree of life becomes invisible to the person and he his understanding of his situation becomes—'I did this with my own hand'.
The Turning PointThe turning point comes when certain conditions are fulfilled. The first is that the person begins to feel that the balance of financial arrangement or life situational benefit he has with the people who helped him are favoring them more than him. These people have now become 'others' unfairly taking away his rightful share in his thinking.
The next step is where the person then starts to 'penalize' the helpful ones in various ways. He extracts more benefits from them leaving aside all consideration for what they have done for him.
He thinks—'well, they also benefitted so what is the great thing they did for me?' He does not connect with where he was before they helped him. In his mind he was always successful. This is the great delusion of success.
Becoming maddened and deluded by success, greed and envy there is no more gratitude because he thinks gratitude is a bad debt to be retired. He becomes arrogant and offensive, and pressurizes his benefactors to the point where the relationship must inevitably break. If there was ever any clear thinking on the subject, it must now vanish to produce the next installment of results.
The Great DelusionIn this interaction, the arrogant nature creates a shield of invulnerability around itself. It thinks it is untouchable because it now has a financial safety net and is control of the situation. Unfortunately for him, this is temporary.
Karmic consequences are being accumulated and also growing to produce changed fruits in the tree of life of that person. His actions actually squeeze the blessings and benefits out of his life. The new fruits he will get are the painful reactions coming to him through the agency of others delivering karmic consequences. These he cannot control, but has to bear and deal with the best he can.
He does not recognize this until it is too late. Then comes lamentation, recriminations, blaming others. What he sends around comes back with a multiplier effect. He conveniently forgets that his own hand was involved in creating his karmic results.
Gratitude and the SurvivorBeing thankful helps us to survive the rocks and arrows of misfortune. Thankfulness creates a condition where we become aware of our limitations and our dependence on the cooperation and goodwill of the universe and those who live in it.
If this is an idea that comes to us infrequently or not at all, then we need to connect with it more frequently—even many times a day. It keeps us safe, preventing us from taking passionate, envious or greed based action.
Connecting to the healing modalities of the KQ Force and Reiki and working with these on a daily basis keeps us safe from this particularly vicious and back-breaking downfall.
Healing naturally allowing a wisdom connection to see the reality of life as it is. Then being thankful for what we have is truly a life-saver.
We continue to send healing vibrations, love and light for you and your family--especially for wisdom.
Be with the Force!
