Sri Krishna Janmashtmi is the appearance day on earth of the
Supreme Lord Krishna, Source of all that exists in the material and spiritual worlds. He appears to deliver the living entities from the cycles of birth and death, to re-establish the principles of the vedas meant for uplifting mankind.
The word 'Janmashtmi' refers to the appearance/birth ('janma') on the 8th day ('ashtmi') from the full moon in the 2nd fortnight of the month of Śrāvaṇa (late July-late August), according to the vedic lunar calendar.

"Better than the ascetic, the renunciant and the fruitive worker is the yogi who connects with Me (Krishna) within. Such a one sees that I am within all living beings as I am within him--such a one serves me with his intelligence. Of all yogis he is the best who is always thinking of Me."
Following the healing practices by connecting to the heart energies of Krishna, especially on Sri Krishna Janmashtmi day as well as the night of His appearance at midnight on that day, helps all healers to connect more deeply to the heart of Krishna within.
Working this way the yogi does the greatest of service to Krishna. This is 'bhaja', 'bhajate', and 'bhajan'.
Sri Krishna liberates all such devotees and healers very quickly from all illusion and material miseries, while protecting what they have and carrying to them what they lack.
All healers should use this opportunity for increasing their healing, their understanding about their connection to the Supreme Divine on Sri Krishna Janmashtmi, and chant the mind-protecting and liberating Mahamantra--
