If we were to look at the running of a country as a public corporation or enterprise, the government would be the equivalent of the Board of Directors. Parliament then, would be the authorized representatives or proxy-holders of the people's mandate, and which proxy-holders would choose and appoint government functionaries from among themselves--the cabinet of ministers or--a board of directors.

At all times, parliament and government, as well as boards of directors of corporations are to further the interests of the people or shareholders they represent. When a board of directors or a government usurps, misuses, or misdirects the power entrusted to them, or fraudulently and coercively takes away the rightful benefits accruing to the shareholders or citizens, such a board of directors or government is guilty of wrongdoing and must be called to account, and also make restitution to the public.
Clearly the UPA government is failing in its mandate. Governance in favor of the people's demands against corruption in public life needs to replace it.

We request all healers to send the additional healing for the current situation, progressing the Empower Project further:

The people of India form the body of the nation, and no political government is supreme over the nation to indulge in, supervise, or support by inaction, corruption in public life. The people's will for a corruption-free government is a practical reality that has been realized.
The policies followed by government that foster continuation of corruption in public life have been decisively exposed and rectified. All elements within and outside government connected with or promoting or maintaining such a position of corruption have been removed from positions of influence.
Government has implemented progressive anti-corruption policies and actions in public life, and evidence of this is suitably demonstrated publicly on a regular basis.
Corrupt public servants, officials and politicians have been called to account and made to restore all assets and benefits to the nation that they may have acquired while indulging in corrupt practises.
All healers are fully protected from any negative karmic reactions in any way connected to these healings, and their lives have improved greatly in all areas of life and living as a result of their public welfare healing activities.

The Solar eclipse of June 1, may have had a more significant effect on the power politics of New Delhi thanks to the Empower Project. Since the Empower Project having gone live on February 9, 2011, the healing work of our Healers are creating major vortexes of change for the benefit of the country. One of the questions being raised 3 weeks from the 36th anniversary of the black days of Indira Gandhi's 'national emergency' of June 25, 1975--are we headed for a similar situation? Is the government in a panic for it's position? On late Saturday night early Sunday morning, June 4-5, the Delhi government sent a few thousand police personnel to break-up the ongoing peaceful protest rally organized by Yogi Baba Ramdev at the Ram Lila grounds in New Delhi. Just a couple of days before, Baba was greeted respectfully at the Delhi airport by senior ministers of the government who were negotiating a settlement with him on the Lokpal Bill, asking him to call off his rally. As clearly the settlement did not happen, overnight the government removed him forcefully from New Delhi, banning his entry for 15 days.

The way that this was done is widely seen as a non-democratic punitive action against Ramdev's rally which was becoming a political hot potato for the government.
The 12:30 am Sunday morning rousting of members of the sleeping gathering on some apparently flimsy pretexts has created a massive anti-government outpouring countrywide. Baba Ramdev was externed from Delhi and alleged that he was manhandled and assaulted physically. It is also alleged that many of Ramdev's followers were severely injured and are said to be in a critical condition in hospitals.
The media was at hand to cover the issue, and there is some footage of the 4 hour long tear-gassing of the peaceful gathering around 2 am on Sunday morning, some physical removal and police clashes and lathi charges on the people. Women, children and the elderly were not spared injuries.
Government's action has been likened to the dark days of the Emergency of June 25, 1975--complete with the midnight knock on the door, and to be whisked away forcefully.

The question is--whose hand will prevail? The heavy hand of the Congress-led government, or the Healing hand?

As Healers, we are non-partisan, and continue to send healing for the results required by the Empower Project. The healing energies will use various events, groups and social and political parties for the end result. We send healing to all without any discrimination, for people power.

May 6, 2-G Scam CBI investigation motivated by coalition politics

The ongoing investigation into the multi-billion rupee 2G phone spectrum bribery scam continues to be a shameful sham, as the leading investigation agency of the country--the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), sets pre-decided limits to the investigation. At the forefront of the ongoing investigation into the 2G phone spectrum bribery scam, is Kaliagnar TV, the company belonging to Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, M Karunanidhi. His 79 year old wife Dayalu Ammal and daughter Kanimozhi (at right) own 60% and 20% of the company respectively. By all accounts both are actively involved in the day-to-day running of the business.

However, the The CBI cited 'old age and lack of knowledge of any language other than Tamil' to decide that Dayalu Ammal could not have played a role in day to functioning of Kalaignar TV. This is patently absurd considering the General Manager of Kaliagnar TV, G Rajendran, has gone on record to the CBI citing examples where Dayalu Ammal participated actively in the management of the company's affairs.
Such a limitation to the investigation is to the clear advantage of Mr. Karunanidhi's ruling DMK party in Tamil Nadu, which is currently supporting the UPA government politically at the center. The CBI is, of course, directed and controlled by the government at the Center.
What other directions may have been to the CBI remains a matter for speculation, but the CBI's actions are very suggestive and do not create confidence that the investigation would be impartial. Where politicians and coalition politics pre-determine the path of an investigation, it can hardly be termed an unbiased or fair investigation.

Healers need to be attentive to look for such evidence of corruption in public life and adjust or add more specific healing procedures to bring what is happening in these areas in line with the goals of the Empower Healing Project. The primary goals of the Empower Healing Project are:

To root out corruption in public life and among persons wielding financial and other power in public life and to restore high standards of public life.
To restore stolen benefits to the citizens, and give them relief from corruption and diversion of assets.
To promote and support a government that has the true interests for the welfare of citizens of every socio-economic class.

The government has given in to the pressure it faced coming from the nationwide anti-corruption movement sparked by 72 year old social activist Anna Hazare. Hazare's fast-unto-death against government and bureaucratic corruption comes to an end this morning, after government agreed to all demands of the activists yesterday, relating to the Lokpal Anti-corruption bill. The first hurdle in getting this bill passed into law has been overcome. This is a great success for the healing objectives of the Empower Project. This is also tremendous encouragement for all healers participating in the Project. Please keep the healing going more than ever to get better and consolidated results against government and bureaucratic corruption.

Governments regularly fail the public trust
Social activist Anna Hazare is currently at New Delhi's Jantar Mantar grounds leading a demand for a greater role of public involvement against government and political corruption. Hazare's slogan is: 'Send them (corrupt politicians) to jail not Parliament.' This sentiment echoed countrywide in the wake of exposure of many corruption scandals rocking the Congress-led UPA government in recent times. Hazare has challenged the government by undertaking a Gandhian fast unto death unless an effective Lokpal (National Ombudsman) Bill is passed. Such a bill has been lying pending for the past 42 years and successive governments have not passed it into law, mainly because it seeks to put the all politicians under the scanner directly and to make them accountable for corruption and failing the public trust. Anna Hazare's key demands--in perfect harmony with the Empower Project statements:

The Lokpal should have jurisdiction over politicians, including the Prime Minister, bureaucrats and judges within its ambit.
The Central Vigilance Commission should be merged with the Lokpal''s office.
Lokpal should have police powers to file FIRs, investigate and launch prosecution.
Selection of Lokpal to be done by panel of eminent people,not just politicians.
Loss caused by corruption should be recovered from those proven guilty.

Arresting the Protesters
In the past when there have been high-profile protesters fasting unto death, Congress party led governments had been quick to charge and arrest protesters invoking a law against suicide. Hazare has already rejected the Congress-led UPA government's 'requests' to cease his fasting unto death action.

Arresting Anna Hazare under a prevention of suicide charge and/or a charge of incitement to civil unrest, or creating a potential law and order problem or some such charge would greatly accelerate the gathering movement against institutionalized government corruption.

Checks and balances
History over the centuries shows that degenerate and corrupt government will be ejected by an oppressed populace at some point. If there is a monitoring checks-and-balances system in place--such as the Lokpal Bill, it would promote worthy and accountable governments that last longer. Shades of 1977
The last time protests like this took place, starting on a small scale and then becoming a nationwide movement, was Jai Prakash Narain's anti-corruption movement against the entrenched dictatorial rule of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's Congress party. That led to the birth of the Bhartiya Janta Party which overwhelmingly defeated the Congress government in the 1977 elections. It also led to Indira Gandhi being banned from standing for elections for 6 years. The BJP government also became bogged down also in the bureaucratic-political corruption morass. The government has few options available to it at this time, none of them very favorable to them, except to accede to the will of the people. Calling on all healers to channel healing to the potentially global disaster situation from nuclear radiation contamination originating in Japan. This is urgent as nuclear radiation that is now spreading into the atmosphere can contaminate not only the air but the water as well and spread across the planet affecting all countries.

Any further melt-downs or explosions in Japan's nuclear facilities will create unimaginable havoc worldwide. Any radiation leakage into the atmosphere and elements has been neutralized safely by all means direct and indirect, and all contamination ill-effects have been reversed and healed globally and at an individual level."

Here is an e-mail from a healer in the USA... Seeing what happened in Japan and how climate related natural disasters are affecting all parts of the world more frequently than ever before (Indonesia, Chile, floods in Australia, etc) we cannot but help think that we as the human race are responsible through our own actions for these results.

What are some karmic patterns that are resulting in these frequent natural disasters?
How can we heal to make man's actions in harmony with nature and how can we heal "nature" for the world to be saved from such catastrophic events in the future?

When there is some natural disaster we can send healing for relief. "Disasters will not stop as people will continue to receive karmic consequences according to their bank balance of karma. We can change the world by changing ourselves and so this becomes the first priority--save yourself and help yourself first and then save and help others. When you heal yourself and your immediate universe sufficiently, and other healers do the same, gradually the external world will change to reflect this as well." Blessings love and light.

For more than 25 years, with the help of our healing congregation, we have been channeling healing for the uplift of the Indian people. We especially channeled healing for benign and enlightened governments, and a healing of the people's karma so that they get such a government. This has clearly not happened.

The history of the past decade, and especially the past year, has shown us that the kaliyuga prediction of the Srimad Bhagavatam is most visibly upon us where corrupt politicians steal the wealth of the nation without fear of reprisals. The powerful continue to shield the corrupt and vice-versa.
We see the need for a different approach to healing this problem. We need to push for a change from the top down much more than a change from the bottom up. This approach will be formalized and presented to an august gathering of healers during the February 4 to 6 Empower Retreat Healing Project in New Delhi.
